It's official!! It's fitness season once again! So my workout of choice was running today (or trying desperately) to get back into the routine again. Mind the fact I was NEVER a pro athlete like Bianca Knight or Carmelita Jeter but for me starting again after 3 months, I held my own. I laced up my gymies, I only where at the gym, put on the running pants I think that make my butt look good and, yes a scarf to save as much of my do as I could and started in.
I walked for 10 minutes to warm up the legs, then 50 squats (because I'm all about my legs and butt right now), 10 side lunges, 50 quad lifts, then with that not being enough I jumped back on the treadmill and ran for 7 minutes, and walked for another 13 minutes. I felt I had another 50 squats, and 50 quads in me, so I knocked those out and then on fragile legs and a questionable knee I stretched out and fled the premises.
I felt great after I left the gym and the 16 degree temp hit me in the face, I felt like I accomplished something for myself today and I was/am pretty proud of that.
